Dave Chazen

I started coaching in soccer over 30 years ago and I have developed a strong love for the game. I have coached all four of my children through both recreational and competitive soccer programs onto their high school teams. I am now starting to coach my grandkids in soccer. I have coached both boys and girls teams on competition clubs that have traveled extensively to regional tournaments. I have a "D" level coaching license and I was a certified referee for several years. I have been involved in the start-up and organization of soccer clubs but I prefer the personal relationships developed by working out on the field with individual players.

I strongly believe that by teaching youth what it takes to be successful in soccer that we provide them a model for how to be successful at any other undertaking in their future lives. I have been fortunate enough to experience numerous examples of this with many of the players I have coached. That is why I love to coach youth soccer, especially at the competitive level.

I am presently coaching a boys U10 team in X-League and a young adult special needs soccer team for TOPS Soccer.
