Utah Soccer Alliance (USA) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to further the education of youth soccer players and to develop, promote and administer the game of soccer at the recreational and competitive level among youth without regard to race, sex or economic advantage.  USA primarily serves the southwest Salt Lake Valley, including the communities of Bluffdale, Daybreak, Herriman, Riverton, South Jordan and West Jordan.

USA is associated with the Utah Youth Soccer Association, the largest youth soccer organization in the state with over 30,000 players.  USA is also partnered with Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer and sponsors "USA night" with RSL.  The club contracts the services of Real Salt Lake players and coaches as paid trainers.

UYSA, along with Youth Soccer Associations from other states in the U.S., are part of the 3,000,000 members United States Youth Soccer Association ("USYSA"), which governs youth soccer in the country.

The general philosophy of Utah Soccer Alliance is "a place for everyone to play" along with player development.  We believe in developing the player from the recreation level to the highest level of competition.

USA also serves as a platform for players to try out for the Olympic Development Program ("ODP") which forms district, state, regional and national teams.  In 2006, seven USA players were selected to the final state ODP teams.
