State Cup Champions!!!

Congratulations to our 2012 Girls!!!

Utah Soccer Alliance is proud to announce our acceptance in the Utah Platform League (UPL) for the 2023 Fall season.

In an effort to enhance and create a healthier competitive environment for Utah's soccer community, we are excited to join the UPL. In addition to our acceptance, we also look forward to collaborating with the other teams/clubs that will be participating in the league as we collectively aim to create developmental opportunities for all clubs and teams regardless of the National, Regional, or State Platforms.

Qualifications

The Utah Platform League will consist of clubs and teams who are able to qualify through either the following National Platforms  (ECNL, GA, & E64) or the USYS National Championship Series (State Cup). For competition purposes, UPL member clubs will only be allowed one (1) team per age group, per gender, that qualifies through the identified National Platform Leagues. Meanwhile, UPL club teams will not be limited to the number of teams participating. This will be based on results as defined in qualifications.

Eligibility

In terms of eligibility, UPL member clubs will be limited to one (1) team per age group, per gender, must be between the age groups of U13-U18/19, and will not be permitted to compete in the UYSA State Cup or UYSA State Gaming League. As for UPL qualified teams, they become eligible as either State Cup Finalists or Champions, and maintain the option to still play in the UYSA gaming league or UYSA State Cup. Clubs participating via the National Platform Leagues: Utah Soccer Alliance (USYS E64 NL), Sparta (Boys USYS E64 NL), Celtic (Girls Academy League), Wasatch SC (Girls Academy League), La Roca (ECNL) & Avalanche (ECNL)

"This has been something that we have been hoping for many years. This initiative will be a significant stepping stone towards the growth and development of club soccer in Utah. We want to express our utmost gratitude towards the UYSA for actively listening to our needs and working tirelessly to make this happen. We look forward to seeing how this league will come together and contribute to the bright future of soccer in our community."- Dennis Burrows, Director of Coaching

As a member of the UPL's inaugural year, we are honored to accept this invitation and look forward to competing amongst the highest level of competition that our state has to offer.

Utah Soccer Alliance Development Pathway

••••••••••••••••••••

As you prepare for the upcoming holiday season and look forward to spending time with family and friends, please consider those children who are not as fortunate as your own and do not have the financial ability to play club soccer.  For those in need, here at Utah Soccer Alliance we've created a way for the community to come together and support one another.  We believe that no child should be turned away from playing competition soccer because fees are unaffordable.

As a non-profit organization, Utah Soccer Alliance is dependent on the charity and service of our members for our continued success.  We augment the annual player participation fees with events like the Adidas Cup, but to achieve our long-term mission of providing every player that desires to play soccer with that opportunity, we need to be more creative in our fund-raising efforts.

Approximately 5% of players receive financial aid directly from the Club.  Within the club financial aid is based solely on the financial circumstances of the family, and is granted with an eye toward achieving our Club's mission.  In addition to the financial aid the Club provides, four USA families have created full financial support endowments that provide those most in need with an opportunity to participate in the game we love.  While we are proud of this support, every year the need for support outpaces our ability to provide financial aid.  Our goal is to raise $25,000 to increase our ability to meet the needs of our soccer community.

As a 501(c)(3), donations made to the club are fully tax deductible.  As such, there are several ways to donate that will have an impact on the future of the club; such as cash, stock, matching donations from corporations and many others.  We simply ask you to consider making a charitable donation to Utah Soccer Alliance this holiday season, as you would consider supporting any other non-profit with a goal of helping the community in which you live reach their goals.  Every donation makes a difference and every gift counts, so please give today.

Use our QR Code to donate today, or visit our website at www.utahsocceralliance.com. You can also walk into any Zions Bank branch and donate to the Utah Soccer Alliance account or mail a check to: 12432 S. Meadow Spring Ln., Riverton, UT 84065

Donations will go to Arsenal Alliance Soccer Club doing business as Utah Soccer Alliance SC, a 501(c)(3) - Tax ID Number: 84-1396082

Please take a moment to read some of the feelings shared with us from current financial aid recipients.

"As a single mother, who receives no financial support from my son's father, I am unable to completely finance this program...any financial assistance would help."

"With my cancer returning we have many medical bills piled up. Thru all of this we have been able to keep our girls playing soccer as I didn't want what was happening to me to interrupt their lives too. Soccer is an escape for them that helps them keep their minds busy and not think too much about what is going on with me. Playing with their team has been a comfort for them as they have become a second family to us...thank you for your help."

"...with soccer prices rising and we are still trying to get caught up (on other bills), it makes it really hard as a parent to pick and choose out of my kids who should get to play. I really don't want to disappoint any of my kids and I am going to have three of my daughters playing...thank you for any help."

Thank you for giving and making our soccer family great!

PRESS RELEASE

Utah Soccer Alliance (USA), is proud to announce the opening of the United Soccer Center, home of USA’s official year round training facility. On December 2, 2019 USA has taken full ownership and management of the Utah Sports Lodge, located at 12432 S Meadow Spring Lane (3670 W) in Riverton, Utah. The United Soccer Center will serve as the official headquarters to Utah Soccer Alliance and provide a home for year round training and development for the 1,000+ players who are a part of their competitive soccer development program.

“Soccer players in Utah have a disadvantage in their development because the Winter months prevent year round outdoor training.” Says USA president Rich Hathaway.

Director of Coaching, Dennis Burrows adds, “The United Soccer Center facility solves that problem, and allows for year round development. As much as the United Soccer Center is for USA players, we are also excited to promote the growth of soccer in Utah by supporting indoor leagues and open play.”

USA has a 20 year history of developing boys and girls youth soccer players in Salt Lake County. They are one of the largest clubs in the State of Utah, spanning from Salt Lake City to Herriman, and host to the annual USA Adidas Cup tournament. USA’s commitment to player development has earned their teams national level ranking and opened doors to collegiate play for many players.

The United Soccer Center Grand Opening, Ribbon Cutting ceremony, and Open House will be held on Saturday, December 14, from 11am-noon.

Several local community members and representatives will be involved in the festivities. Please plan to attend and participate.
