Game Day Roster

Coaches / Team Managers

Each team will be required to print off 1 Game Day Roster to bring to the game to turn in to the referee.  Requiring both teams to print off the game day roster and bring them to the game will significantly reduce the ability for teams to alter rosters illegally.  If any illegal changes are made the opposing coach will still provide the original roster of the other team.  The rosters will be turned into the referee for examination of continuity.  Game Day Rosters will be available to print off 24 hours before each game (meaning the button to print off the roster will appear 24 hours before the game is scheduled to start).

Game Day Roster Instructions:

A coach or another team admin will have to log in to their account through utahyouthsoccer.net.  From their main account page they will scroll down to the Tournament Applications/Game Scoring Section.  They will choose the team whose game day roster they need to print and click on Schedules/Game Scoring next to that team (see below).

Once team admins click on Schedules/Game Scoring their schedule page will load (see below).  Their bracket and standings will appear at the top with the schedule below.  To print off the Game Day Roster the admin will need to scroll down to the game they are playing.  On the left side of the game underneath the Game Number they will find a Print Roster button (Remember, this button will only appear 24 hours before game time).  They just need to click that button and print off the roster.  As with Travel Rosters, the best way to print off the roster is to export the document to a PDF and then print it off.  PDFs will maintain the roster format and not give admins and headaches.  The Game Day Roster has a time stamp on it, indicating the exact time the roster was printed off.  If for instance, one coach prints off the roster 24 hours before game time, and the opposing coach adds a developmental player just hours before the game and then prints off the roster....... the rosters won't match.  The time stamp will allow referees and coaches to see exactly when the two rosters were printed off and to determine if any difference are suspicious and need further inquiry.

Most team admins will already by very familiar with logging in and going to their schedule page.  The only difference is now they will print their game day roster right from this page.  All we need to do is get the word out to all the coaches so you don't get a lot of unnecessary phone calls.

I will send an email blast out to all competitive and district coaches explaining the Game Day Roster and how to print it off.

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
